Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

We are seeking a dynamic Talent Acquisition Specialist – Technical Recruiter to join our global talent acquisition team, bringing fresh perspectives and a deep curiosity to our efforts in France and the EMEA region. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in attracting top talent across all business lines at CGG, supporting our university relations and employer branding initiatives, and collaborating with the global Talent Acquisition (TA) team as needed.

Primary Responsibilities

In this role, you will lead full-cycle recruitment activities, managing the recruitment process to ensure a consistent and exceptional candidate experience. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading Recruitment Activities: Conduct full-cycle searches within France and the EMEA region, ensuring that recruitment efforts align with the needs of the business.

  • Candidate Experience: Oversee the recruitment process to guarantee a best-in-class experience for candidates, fostering a positive impression of CGG.

  • Sourcing Methodologies: Utilize effective sourcing techniques, including social media and other tools, to identify and engage specific candidate pools. Develop a strong understanding of CGG and the markets we operate in.

  • Partnership with Hiring Managers: Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their business needs and share market insights. Navigate trade-offs between market dynamics, speed, and quality while establishing clear expectations regarding service level agreements (SLA).

  • Building Relationships: Develop strong working relationships with the business, HR Centers of Excellence (CoEs), and HR Business Partners (HRBPs) to ensure alignment and collaboration.

  • Employer Branding: Represent CGG with professionalism at all times, actively participating in branding efforts and university events to strengthen our employer brand.

  • CoE Projects: Participate in CoE projects and initiatives as required, contributing to broader talent acquisition strategies.


Desired candidate profile

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Education: A university degree or comparable qualifications.

  • Recruitment Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition within an international context. You should have a natural ability to assess candidates against company culture and values.

  • Sourcing Expertise: Proven sourcing skills gained through experience in a recruitment agency or as a sourcer in an in-house team, demonstrating your ability to identify and attract top talent.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, allowing you to manage stakeholders effectively and represent CGG compellingly.

  • Project Management Skills: Good project management and organizational skills to handle multiple recruitment processes efficiently.
