Job Description
We are seeking a detailoriented and creative Merchandiser to join our team. The Merchandiser will be responsible for ensuring that our products are attractively displayed in stores to maximize visibility drive sales and enhance the customer experience. This role involves coordinating with suppliers analyzing consumer buying patterns and implementing visual merchandising strategies across multiple store locations.
Location : Central Uganda
1. Product Display & Arrangement: Design and set up appealing product displays to attract customers and promote sales following brand guidelines and visual standards.
2. Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels reorder products as needed and ensure stores are sufficiently stocked especially during peak seasons.
3. Sales Analysis: Analyze sales data and customer preferences to adjust displays identify highdemand items and optimize product placement.
4. Supplier & Vendor Coordination: Work with suppliers to manage deliveries negotiate prices and ensure the timely arrival of new products and promotional items.
5. Customer Engagement: Gather customer feedback on product preferences and trends to help the team align products with customer needs.
6. Promotional Setup: Execute instore promotions and seasonal displays ensuring that marketing materials are correctly displayed and maintained.
7. Reporting: Submit performance reports and recommendations to management.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail merchandising visual merchandising or a similar role.
- Strong organizational and timemanagement skills.
- Knowledge of market trends customer preferences and merchandising standards.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to analyze sales data and make datadriven decisions.
Work Environment
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays based on store needs and promotional schedules.
