JOB DESCRIPTION FOR A DRAFTSPERSON:
Our Client is a leading design and drafting firm dedicated to delivering toptier solutions. Their focus is on innovation accuracy and a commitment to industry excellence. This position is ideal for candidates with Australian drafting experience who thrive in a dynamic environment. Experience with joinery is a bonus but we prioritize creativity attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
Your Responsibilities as a Draftsperson would be:
Create and edit detailed technical drawings plans and blueprints using Microvellum
AutoCAD and other design tools.
Collaborate with architects designers and construction professionals to ensure designs
meet specifications and standards.
Create preliminary design sketches for conceptual analysis
Analyse project requirements and provide creative solutions to complex problems.
Maintain precise design documentation and ensure data accuracy.
Verify drawings are correct to specifications codes and other regulations
Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress and incorporate feedback into
designs.
Keep uptodate with industry advancements and software tools.
Qualifications as a Draftsperson:
Bachelors Degree in Architecture Engineering Industrial Design or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Draftsperson with knowledge of Australian
standards and regulations.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant software.
Ability to multitask and manage several projects at a time
Excellent communication skills and a charismatic personality.
Strong attention to detail and an ability to think creatively.
Joinery experience is a "nice to have" but not mandatory.
Passion for the industry and a genuine interest in learning and professional development.
