Job Description

Resourcery is a professional service provider based in Cape Town providing a wide range of services to clients all around the world including finance marketing analytics operations legal and others.

For this particular role our client is an investment company with a wide range of businesses in Hospitality and Food & Beverage. The company is seeking a proactive and detailoriented Business Operations Director to support the daily operational needs of the business and portfolio companies.


As a Business Operations Director you will drive essential operational support to management and ensure smooth operations across various companies. You will focus on providing operative and administrative support to ensure all systems operate smoothly and align with our quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting directly to Management your duties and responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:


  • Supporting managers across various companies in daytoday administrative tasks such as scheduling reporting and maintaining operational records

  • Providing backoffice support for the portfolio companies facilitating smooth operations while ensuring compliance with internal processes

  • Ensuring all systems operate smoothly and align with our quality standards while maximising the efficiency of all business procedures

  • Supporting the research and implementation of relevant compliance standards for example for health and safety standards

  • Managing company secretarial work including statutory filings and administrative duties

  • Handling People Operations including immigration requirements and employee mobility

  • Assisting with reporting and documentation for senior management

  • Working with offtheshelf systems to manage business operations and ensure efficient workflow.



Requirements

Qualifications and Skills

As an ideal candidate you must have the following:


  • Minimum 5 years of experience in operations administration or a related field Passion for problem solving resourceful and solutionsdriven

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating between various teams

  • Have a good understanding of financial terminology and business language

  • Experience with company secretarial work statutory filings and administrative compliance

  • Financial knowledge and proficiency in business language to support operational tasks

  • Comfort with offtheshelf systems and tools to manage business processes

  • Proficiency in English.
