Job Description
Job Title: System Administrator (Remote)
- Location: Remote
- Job Type: W2 Contract
Background/Need:
The Apple Engineers work within End Point Engineering to manage the fleet of macOS and iOS devices across the laboratory. They handle security configuration patching/updates infrastructure integration (kerberos Axiad etc) and more. Due to the growth at the Laboratory this team needs an additional team member to support the increased demands on services.
Must Have:
Scripting and Task Automation (e.g. server installation patch management configuration)
Bash
Apple iOS platforms
Apple Macintosh
Configuration Profiles FileVault Packaging and Bash or Python
JAMF
Macintosh and iOS platform(s)
Excellent Problem Solving
Presentation verbal and written communication skills
Selfmotivated and Ability to Work with Little Direction
Strong customer service skills and communication
Strong team communication
Work Successfully in a Team Environment
Nice to Have:
MS Active Directory LDAP
Configure and Manage Centralized Logging and Audit Capabilities
Desktop and Server Support (installation patching auditing configuration security AD etc.)
Education & Experience: Bachelors with 5 Years of relevant work experience.
Work Authorization: US Citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.
