Solution Architect Jive to SharePoint Online Migration
Job Description: The Architect will lead the migration of content and functionality from the Jive platform to SharePoint Online ensuring seamless transfer while preserving metadata and permissions. The Architect will define the migration strategy design SharePoint sites and ensure that business goals are met for each department.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct inventory and analysis sessions with stakeholders to understand the Jive platform business needs and migration goals for departments such as Communications IT HR Finance and more.
- Define the migration scope and approach considering departmentspecific challenges and requirements.
- Design SharePoint Online sites and configure features according to branding security and governance standards.
- Develop a highlevel migration strategy mapping Jive platform features to SharePoint Online counterparts.
- Review and approve content mapping reports for each department and ensure the accuracy of metadata and permissions transfer.
- Oversee the migration process ensuring data integrity and functionality is maintained.
- Provide guidance for quality assurance and user acceptance testing (UAT) efforts postmigration.
- Collaborate with the Technical Lead and Developers providing technical direction and resolving highlevel issues.
- Lead the postmigration support phase ensuring any questions or issues are resolved efficiently.
Requirements:
- 10 years of experience in enterpriselevel content management solutions and migrations especially with SharePoint Online.
- Expertise in SharePoint Online architecture content management and security configurations.
- Experience migrating largescale content from platforms such as Jive.
- Strong understanding of metadata and permissions management.
- Leadership skills and the ability to engage with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Proficiency with migration tools and best practices.
