JOB TITLE: Aircraft Sheetmetal Mechanic UPCOMING OPENINGS
LOCATION: Wichita KS
PAY RATE: $43.00 per hour

Summary:
-
We are seeking Aircraft Sheetmetal Mechanics to join the Final Product Verification (FPV) Team.
-
Primarily 2nd shift positions with some availability on other shifts.
-
Assemble major structures (fuselage panels bulkheads subassemblies) and perform structural repairs.
-
Balance and stabilize jack systems before skin changes.
-
Matchdrill skins/structures to engineering configurations.
-
Inspect assemble and test structural components for quality and compliance.
-
Follow engineering instructions and use precision measuring tools.
-
Conduct minor machine maintenance and ensure proper tool certification.
-
Assist team members and crosstrain in inspection.
Required Skills:
-
Prior aircraft sheetmetal experience particularly in heavy structure/skin change work.
-
Must start ASAP and handle high volumes of inspection tags.

Safety steeltoed shoes/boots required.
-
No dresses skirts or jewelry in shop areas.
