Job Description
The Digital Marketing Test Lead develops and owns the execution of all tests across multiple platforms such as Google Meta Bing LinkedIn and Reddit. The ideal candidate for this role brings a can do mindset and is not afraid to roll up their sleeves to learn and apply industry best practices in campaign & account performance to strive for higher standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
Collaborates with test and agency leads to design and execute test campaigns
Owns endtoend design & execution (e.g. define audience & budget identify creative needs) in partnership with internal and external partners
Identifies roadblocks and facilitates solutions to deliver testing throughput
Responsible for monitoring and ensuring quality of tests
Creates and maintains artifacts for testing (e.g. test briefs)
Create campaigns and implement updates to campaign parameters on digital marketing (e.g. Google Bing and Meta)
Ensures the quality and performance of campaigns through rigorous inplatform QA (e.g. audiences location headlines & descriptions URLs)
Troubleshoots issues and develops solutions in collaboration with internal (e.g. analytics) and external stakeholders (e.g. agencies Google / Meta)
Performs analyses to uncover opportunities to further improve the account across tactics (e.g. search retargeting new customer acquisition) and supports ideation and refinement of testing hypotheses
Tests new products and optimizes tactics to enhance campaign effectiveness
Proactively monitors campaign performance metrics (e.g. spend attributed ROAS) and works with internal and external partners to implement adjustments to optimize performance
Stays up to date with latest trends & knowledge in the industry
Acts as a thought partner for test leads and pod leads to define & execute on testing roadmap that ladders up to the organizations key strategic goals
Collaborates with measurement lead to deep dive on test measurement conducting analyses and forming hypotheses from test learnings and results to iterate on campaign optimization
Manages multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
Qualifications
3 years of relevant work experience in digital marketing across multiple platforms (e.g. Google Meta Bing LinkedIn Reddit)
Knowledge of digital marketing concepts (e.g. tROAS CPC diminishing return) tactics (e.g. search retargeting acquisition) and campaign components (e.g. audience ad sets ad groups)
Experience with optimizing & managing accounts and campaigns (e.g. tROAS spend mix) to achieve the highest marketing ROI (i.e. highest incremental ROAS)
Familiarity with various testing and optimization methodologies (e.g. A/B geo test)
Agile mindset and domainspecific expertise to support backlog development and resolve blockers
Creative problem solving able to develop mitigation plan to ensure ontarget delivery of campaigns / experiences
Strong team player collaborator and individual contributor
Strong communication skills with ability to translate technical insights to actionable next steps
Strong problem solver with ability to implement solutions and manage progress
Analytical and datadriven with ability to use data to make decisions draw insights
Strong attention to details and commitment to quality assurance
