MyCamper is the largest sharing platform for camping vehicles in Sweden Norway Finland Denmark and Switzerland. At MyCamper were on a mission to make camping accessible to everyone giving people the freedom to explore while making better use of existing resources. By connecting camping enthusiasts with vehicle owners were creating unforgettable experiences and promoting a more sustainable way to enjoy the great outdoors.
About our product and the team
- We have a small tech team of 3 fulltime developers a CTO (who also codes). We work in three week sprints in a Scrum team together with the CPO a product manager a product designer and a QA.
- We focus on outcome rather than output and value business impact and practical solutions over following the latest tech trends.
- Our platform is built on PHP/Laravel in the backend VueJS & NuxtJS in the frontend and Wordpress for our Magazine CMS. Were cloud native and run our services in Kubernetes CloudSQL and MemoryStore on Google Cloud.
Tasks
Were seeking a Senior FullStack Developer who is passionate about building exceptional web applications. Youll be a key player in our tech team working closely with our product team to deliver highquality scalable and innovative features. In addition to your development responsibilities youll act as the deputy to our CTO and take on leadership in designing solutions with other stakeholders. During our CTOs parental leave (Summer/Fall 2025) youll step in as the interim tech lead leading our technical team and driving strategic technical decisions.
Requirements
- You have fullstack experience with the technologies we use (Laravel or similar PHP framework VueJS or similar frontend framework)
- You have started a project from scratch. You might have lead a team of developers or been a tech lead or built an impressive side project
- You have experience with Kubernetes and Google Cloud or similar
- You have strong communication skills and can talk about tech with the nontechies
- Youre motivated by delivering solutions that positively impact the business
Nice to have
- You have dipped your toes into the AI pool and have prompt engineering experience
- You acknowledge that hating PHP as a language was a fad in the 2010s among hipster programmers
