Job Description




AnMed Medical Center is looking to add to the Rheumatology locum pool for future coverage needs! They are looking to onboard GREAT candidates immediately!

Job Details:
  • Reason for Coverage: Referrals are backed up; Rheumatologist will be going on maternity leave @ February
  • Practice Setting: OfficeClinic
  • Schedule (Shifts/Hours): 8:30 5:00 MTh; 8:30 12:30 F
  • Average Number of Patients per Day (Private Practice): 1520
  • Documentation System/EMR: Epic
  • Number of Exam Rooms: 6
  • Number of Rheumatologist in Practice: 1
  • Description of Support Staff: 1 NP 2 CMAs 1 front desk staff
  • Patient Age Demographic: Adult
  • 0 % Internal Medicine 100% Arthritis Autoimmune

Required Procedures:

  • Joint Injections Hyalgan
  • Joint Injections Supartz
  • Joint Injections Corticosteroids

Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 2 months

Requirement description :
  • Board Certified REQUIRED
  • Active SC license REQUIRED no exceptions
  • BLS REQUIRED
  • 100% CLEAN BACKGROUND HIGHLY Preferred; may consider small malpractice from years ago depending on situation
  • No new grads must have great experience ratings and training
  • Provider must be local REQUIRED

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :
  • BLS
  • Board Certified

STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :
  • South Carolina

ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :
Weekend Requirements : Same as above (23 days per week)
On Call Requirements : Same as above (23 days per week)
