Job Description
Job Title: Accountant
Location: St. Charles MO 63301
Duration: 6 months (Potential extension)
Summary:
The Accountant serves as both a Financial Custodian and a Strategic CoPilot ensuring financial integrity while providing decisionmaking support to enhance business performance.
Responsibilities:
- Process payroll accounts payable/receivable and travel/entertainment expenses accurately and on time.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards for transactions (general ledger cash flow etc.).
- Reconcile accounts (balance sheet P&L bank accounts) and prepare internal/external reports.
- Support project accounting and financial analysis.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
- Experience in journal entries accruals balance sheet reconciliations and depreciation entries.
- Knowledge of Power BI and data cubes is a plus.
