Job Title: Sushi Chef

Salary: 2500 net per month tips bonus on sales (negotiable)
Company Overview:
This position is with a vibrant sushi bar and takeaway in a popular European winter resort. Known for its fresh flavorful sushi and Asianinspired dishes the sushi bar offers a cozy 40seat dining area alongside a bustling takeaway service with around 40 daily orders. Guests enjoy a variety of sushi rolls sashimi and Asian specialties making it a goto spot for quality sushi in a casual friendly environment. The restaurant operates as a standalone station with the Sushi Chef handling all sushi preparation and service independently.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a Sushi Chef to join the team for a 4month winter season. This is a standalone role with full responsibility for sushi preparation from initial ingredient handling to plating and guest service. The Sushi Chef will work independently focusing solely on sushi while hot dishes are prepared in the hotel s main kitchen.

Requirements
- Independently prepare a variety of sushi dishes including rolls sashimi and nigiri to highquality standards.
- Manage all aspects of sushi preparation including fish filleting rice cooking and mise en place.
- Serve and interact with guests directly at the sushi bar providing an engaging and personalized dining experience.
- Maintain a clean organized workspace strictly adhering to hygiene and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the hotel kitchen to ensure smooth coordination of sushi and hot dish orders for a seamless guest experience.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Sushi Chef in a similar highquality independent setting.
- Proficiency in fish filleting and sushi preparation with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously managing the entire sushi operation independently.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Valid European passport or Permanent European residence required.
- Excellent customer service skills for direct guest interactions.
