Job Description

Job Title: Parts Coordinator

Location:Th Avenue Holland Michigan USA 49424

Schedule: 6:30 AM start time 8hour shifts

Duration:6 Months

Compensation: $20 per hour

NOTE: Forklift experience required

Job Description:

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Parts Coordinator with forklift experience (both sitdown and standup) to join our team. The Parts Coordinator will be responsible for managing inventory pulling parts from pick lists and ensuring accurate placement of incoming stock. This role requires attention to detail adherence to safety standards and effective communication with team members to maintain seamless operations in the stockroom and shipping areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately place incoming stock in the appropriate locations.
  • Pull parts from pick lists for both parts and pump orders.
  • Package and ship parts and warehouse orders in a timely manner.
  • Receive incoming freight from vendors and manage its placement.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using the internal system.
  • Conduct daily cycle counts and ensure stock levels are accurate.
  • Monitor the backlog of work and request assistance when necessary to meet deadlines.
  • Support and comply with all safety protocols including 5S requirements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned based on organizational needs.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 35 years of experience in material handling including forklift and crane operations.
  • Strong experience in warehouse management particularly in stockroom and shipping/receiving areas.
  • Competent in using forklifts (sitdown and standup) and cranes.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and cycle counting processes.
  • Commitment to safety and operational efficiency.

Work Environment:

This position will require working in both internal and external stocking areas as well as shipping and receiving departments. The role involves physical labor including lifting moving and handling materials using forklifts and other machinery.
