Job Description:
As a Clinical Developer you will play a vital role in the Ultrasound Advanced development team towards new feature development.
Clinical Developer requires (General Imaging) the candidate to be registered as a Clinical Sonographer with ARDMS accreditation (or equivalent) with at least 3 years of clinical experience. Experience in Clinical Development is highly preferred.
Performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to national guidelines for procedures and scanning protocols. Knowledge of ultrasound physics and implementing knowledge to effectively provide constructive feedback on input for development. Ensuring patient safety monitoring the patient for potentially dangerous physical and/or emotional change
Abide by all HIPAA standards for patient privacy. Experience: BS/BA in related discipline preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. ARDMS certified (or equivalent). Demonstrates a good grasp of knowledge and principles of the field of specialization and applies through successful completion of assignments. Successfully applies knowledge of fundamental concepts practices and procedures of a particular area of specialization. Must have excellent written verbal and presentation skills. Demonstrates a basic knowledge of computer skills.
Responsibilities
In this role as a Clinical Specialist you will be responsible for the following:
Provide clinical support in executing Clinical oriented tests Image Quality and performance on Ultrasound scanners and applications
Responsible for providing consultation to define test strategies and test scenarios with Clinical workflow scenarios
Working with multiple global teams
Utilize specialist knowledge to support feature development
On occasion support local external clinical evaluation on SW or equipment with external clinical collaborators.
Experience/Education:
A Bachelors /Masters degree in Sonography with ultrasound experience and academic certifications desired.
Prior experience working in Healthcare R&D desired
Good indepth knowledge of basic ultrasound system architecture clinical workflows and used technology.
Strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges
Knowledge of Product development lifecycle
Experience in training and presenting to individuals and large groups
Selfmotivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
The ability to translate customer needs into clear product requirements for R&D is a must.
