Job Description
Job Title : Senior Database Developer
Location: Longmont CO and Sacramento CA Onsite
Duration/Term: Long Term Contract
Key Responsibilities:
- SQL Server Expertise: 13 years of handson experience in SQL Server and Microsoft Business Intelligence (MSBI) tools including SSIS and SSAS.
- Advanced Query Writing: Proficient in writing complex TSQL queries stored procedures functions triggers and managing database objects.
- Performance Optimization: Expertise in performance tuning database activity automation and delivering enterpriselevel reporting solutions.
- Business Intelligence Reporting: Develop and write complex queries for both applications and business intelligence reporting.
- Database Maintenance: Handle core database procedures such as upgrades backups recovery and migration.
- Server Management: Install and configure SQL Server on enterprise servers.
- SSIS Expertise: 4 years of experience working with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to design and develop ETL processes.
- Power BI Development: Handson experience in developing Power BI models and dashboards for data visualization.
- Additional Database Knowledge: Experience with MSSQL and MongoDB is a plus.
Skills:
- SQL Server: Advanced knowledge of SQL Server and MSBI tools (SSIS SSAS).
- TSQL: Proficient in writing complex queries and working with database objects.
- Performance Tuning: Strong skills in optimizing database performance.
- Database Automation: Experience in automating database activities and processes.
- Power BI: Experience in building Power BI models and dashboards.
- Database Maintenance: Proficiency in backup recovery and migration tasks.
- MSSQL & MongoDB: Experience with MSSQL and MongoDB (preferred).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
