Position: Technical Security Analyst (M&A Integration)
Duration: 612 Month Contract
Location: 100% remote
Job Details:
- Collaborate with the team on identifying and assessing cybersecurity risks associated with potential acquisitions.
- Perform preM&A Security Due Diligence according to clients established process procedures templates and mature risk assessment standards.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of security vulnerabilities including those related to network and applications phishing and ransomware threats PCI and more.
- Conduct detailed evaluations of potential acquisition companies security infrastructure and risks and identify necessary remediations to ensure compliance.
- Conduct thorough reviews of clients IT environment to identify security gaps with an emphasis on PCI and HIPAA compliance issues.
- Develop and manage projects aimed at integrating clients IT systems within local PCI models while remediating identified security gaps.
- Ensure that all data transfer processes comply with cybersecurity regulations particularly targeting undisclosed issues from the preexisting business structure.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to align clients IT policies with their Global IT Policy sections including IT Governance Policy IT Security Policy IT Acquisition Divestiture Policy Data Governance Access Management Policy and more.
- Coordinate certification requests or evidence collection demonstrating clients compliance with relevant cybersecurity regulations.
- Manage network integration processes within specified timeframes postacquisition.
Skill Requirements:
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills and writing/communication skills this consultant will be interfacing with multiple teams as well as with the company that the client is acquiring.
- Proven experience as a Security Risk Analyst particularly in Mergers & Acquisitions.
- Demonstrated knowledge in assessing a variety of security vulnerabilities around network and applications phishing and ransomware concerns PCI etc.
- Proven ability to identify remediations needed to bring target companies into compliance.
- Must possess exemplary written/documentation and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to operate independently and take a proactive approach in a remote work setting.
