Role: Senior AI/ML Data Scientist
Location: Windsor Mill MD (Hybrid)
About the Role: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior AI/ML Data Scientist with at least 8 years of handson experience in data science and AI/ML engineering. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Natural Language Processing (NLP) Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLM). You will be responsible for driving AI/ML initiatives building scalable models and working with cuttingedge technologies to solve complex problems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and deploy AI/ML models focusing on NLP and Generative AI solutions.
- Collaborate on projects involving Large Language Models (LLM) for various business applications.
- Work with Python programming and standard ML frameworks like TensorFlow PyTorch and scikitlearn.
- Utilize data engineering tools such as Apache Spark and orchestration frameworks like Airflow to create scalable AI solutions.
- Leverage cloud services such as AWS EC2 and (optionally) Azure ML to deploy and manage models.
- Apply advanced statistical and mathematical methods to extract insights and patterns from large datasets.
- Work in a collaborative environment using version control tools like Git for managing code and projects.
- Explore and implement semantic search algorithms for enhanced data retrieval.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Statistics Applied Mathematics Computer Science or Information Science.
- Overall 12 Years of IT experience is required
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist with a focus on AI/ML.
- Strong proficiency in Natural Language Processing (NLP) Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLM).
- Fluency in Python and experience with standard libraries such as Pandas NumPy and Matplotlib.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow PyTorch and scikitlearn.
- Knowledge of NLP libraries such as NLTK.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS EC2 and (optional) Azure ML.
- Familiarity with scalable data frameworks (Apache Spark) and orchestration tools (Airflow).
- Strong problemsolving skills and ability to work in fastpaced environments.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with semantic search techniques.
- Strong understanding of data pipelines and largescale data processing.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
