Role & Responsibilities
In this position, you will play a critical role in supporting recruitment efforts. Your main task will be to identify and attract top talent who possess the skills and passion necessary to drive our projects forward. This involves developing effective HR policies and staffing plans that align with our commitment to sustainability and the overall success of the initiative.
You will also be responsible for implementing training and capacity-building initiatives. Ensuring our workforce has the necessary skills and knowledge is paramount, and you will oversee the development of training programs that address these needs. Monitoring workforce alignment with project objectives and timelines will be another key responsibility, as fostering a culture of collaboration and efficiency is vital for project success.
Conducting employee engagement assessments will help you gauge the workplace culture and make necessary adjustments to foster a positive environment. You will also develop performance management systems that align employee goals with our project objectives, ensuring that everyone is working toward a common purpose and understands their role within the larger mission.
Qualifications & Skills
To be successful in this role, you should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A minimum of 10 years of HR consulting experience is essential, preferably with a focus on environmental projects, as this background will enhance your understanding of the sector's unique challenges and requirements.
Your expertise in HR policy, recruitment, and capacity building will be crucial in attracting and retaining the right talent for our initiatives. A deep knowledge of environmental project staffing will provide you with valuable insights into effective workforce management strategies. Additionally, your experience in training and development will enable you to foster a culture of growth and continuous improvement.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are a must, as you will be required to build relationships across diverse teams and engage various stakeholders effectively. Familiarity with HR software and tools will also be important for effective talent management and reporting, ensuring that our processes are streamlined and efficient.
