Essential Duties and Responsibilities General Duties •Deliver high-end styling services including signature blow dries, precision haircuts and expert color treatments to ensure each client experiences Duck & Dry’s distinctive approach •Master a blend of traditional and modern hair techniques to guarantee a consistent yet trend forward look while maintaining the signature Duck & Dry styling ethos •Offer expert guidance on Duck & Dry products, tailoring recommendations to each guest’s specific needs to ensure a personalized aftercare routine that enhances the overall styling experience •Actively promote all available services and products within the salon, offering clear comparisons and helping guests select the most suitable treatments for their hair type and lifestyle yet accordingly to their predispositions and preferences •Lead by example, delivering a luxury customer experience with a focus on high level personalization to ensure every guest feels valued from their first step into the salon to the completion of their service •Anticipate guest needs with intuition to ensure they feel cared for and their expectations are exceeded at every touchpoint, creating an exceptional salon experience •Meticulously manage the appointment schedule to ensure timely service delivery while optimizing the flow of daily operations to maintain guest satisfaction and stylist efficiency •Closely keep track of the different subsequent and simultaneous appointments, strictly adhering to punctuality and adjusting workforce number and/or speed as needed to ensure the most flawless sequence of services •Cultivate a positive, cohesive atmosphere within the salon while representing accurately the Duck & Dry brand values and fostering a collaborative environment that clients can recognize and appreciate •Respond to guest requests with immediacy and professionalism to ensure every query or concern is handled with precision and care •Build and sustain strong guest relationships through warm, attentive consultations to offer personalized advice that fosters loyalty and repeat business •Be mindful of contraindications and product sensitivities, advising guests accordingly on which treatments may be unsuitable due to hair condition or sensitivities •Ensure smooth salon operations by maintaining open communication with both team members and guests, streamlining the flow from service to product recommendations seamlessly •Upsell hair services and recommend Duck & Dry products thoughtfully to deepen the guest experience and support revenue growth through knowledgeable, tailored suggestions, namely about the available product lines •Educate both guest and team members on proper product usage, styling techniques and maintenance/aftercare routines to improve guest results and boost product sales •Lead the team by training and mentoring stylists, overseeing their development to ensure they meet Duck & Dry’s styling standards while cultivating a nurturing, growth-focused environment in context with Asaya Wellness Center for Rosewood Doha •Facilitate regular skill development sessions to refine team techniques and stay ahead of industry trends to ensure the team consistently delivers a high level of service •Manage team performance with a focus on continuous improvement, inspiring motivation and ensuring all stylists meet and exceed service expectations •Oversee the daily operations of the salon to maintain strict hygiene protocols, salon appearance and organization to create a seamless and professional environment/appearance for both staff and guests •Ensure all styling stations are fully stocked, organized and ready for use with all tools sterilized and maintained to the highest hygiene standards •Provide support where needed, assisting the team in all areas of salon operation to ensure a consistently smooth guest experience and efficient workflow •Manage inventory of styling products and tools, coordinating with suppliers to guarantee timely replenishment and avoid any service disruption due to supplies depletion •Proactively supervise the maintenance of workstations being clean, safe, stocked, well organized and ready to use at all times with relevant items sterilized in the correct manner before each use •Handle any guest complaints with professionalism and tact to ensure that issues are resolved swiftly and to the highest standard of customer satisfaction possible
