You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailTo ensure that all kitchen and laundry equipment and appliances are functioning properly, safely, and efficiently to support the smooth operation of the kitchen and laundry. Orderly and timely completion of works orders received by know cross system. Perform a various work order involved maintaining preventive maintenance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Maintain complete knowledge and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures and standards.
• Ensure the use of all required of Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE) while on duty.
• Routine inspection on all operation kitchen & laundry equipment of the hotel.
• Record readings and keep track on functionality of kitchen & laundry equipment.
• Maintains kitchen/Laundry equipment and machinery record system for the property.
• To carry out repairs and maintenance of all hotel Kitchen and laundry equipment.
• To carryout preventive maintenance checks all Kitchens and laundry equipment.
• To follow the preventive maintenance schedule as specified in the plan.
• To order, track, record and maintain inventory parts of all hotel Kitchen and laundry equipment.
• Check on performance of Laundry, Kitchen and Gas equipment's system and components.
• Check and maintain all hot ranges, kettles brazing pans, convention ovens, ban mares, mixers pass counters, Cold cabinets, Dishwashers Wash Equipment's, Hot cabinet, and all related equipment's.
• Maintaining the logbook effectively and checking the equipment in the kitchen, laundry, and hotel apartments.
• Check with duty engineer for the priority job for all the kitchen outlets and laundry areas.
• Always maintain safety procedures/conditions in working area and other associated areas (especially food preparation area).
• Coordinated with concern department (Stewarding / kitchen) department and ensure that we are following HACCP and conducting equipment rectification and troubleshooting.
• Perform routine inspections to identify any issues, address them promptly to minimize downtime and ensure the kitchen and laundry operates efficiently.
• Operate and monitor chiller/cold rooms unit to ensure consistent reliable cooling performance.
• If the maintenance takes longer time to complete, immediately communicate with the Engineering Supervisor, Duty Engineer, and concern department (Culinary).
• Ensure close the maintenance request in communication devise after completing the job.
• Respond promptly to Know cross service order made from made for requests, assistance, or emergency work orders.
• Take the utilities meter reading and update in the system accordingly.
• Always keep premises clean and tidy after completing the job.
• Communicate with Duty Engineer/ Engineering supervisor of daily work progress before ending the shift.
• Ensure log down into the logbook before ending the shift.
• Follow all the Departmental procedures and instructions.
• Follow hotel hygiene policy and procedure while entering in the kitchens and working in the kitchens.
• Ensure that following of MOPH (Ministry of Public Health ‘s guidelines/ Hotel hygiene HACCP points.
• Ensure tag and lockout procedures are followed when working on electrically powered equipment and SNG line.
• Always maintain safety procedures/conditions in working area and other associated areas.
• Understand and practice hotel emergency fire precaution procedures.
• Ensure team work to achieve Engineering departmental goal.
• Ensure maintenance records are kept up to date.
• Comply and adhere to the Rosewood company policies.
• Take on other tasks in addition of the ones stated, in a reasonable framework.
• Be always a “brand ambassador” and ensure brand integrity and clarity are always maintained.
• Model the company’s culture, vision, mission, and core values always.
• Take a proactive approach to management of the department, anticipating potential opportunities.
• Understand and practice hotel emergency fire procedures.

Health & Safety
• Be aware of all existing departmental Job Safety Analysis and Risk assessments and strive to work in an accident-free manner and to create a safe work environment for others. To continuously look for conditions which may endanger associates or guests of the hotel and to take immediate action to correct any hazardous conditions found.
• Be aware of and comply with safe working practices as laid down under the Health and Safety rules, regulations, and procedures as applicable to your place of work. This will include your awareness of any specific hazards at your workplace.
• The wearing of appropriate protective clothing provided by or recommended by the Company will be obligatory.
• Report any defects in the building, plant, or equipment according to hotel procedure.
• Ensure that any accidents to associates, guests or visitors are reported immediately in accordance with correct procedures.
• Attend Statutory Fire, Health & Safety training and be fully conversant with and abide by all rules concerning Fire, Health & Safety.
