Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

Ensure Clean and Neat Environment: Take pride in maintaining exceptionally clean and organized facilities, always providing safe care and a personalized and intuitive service. Set up, utilize, operate and clean/properly sanitize all Spa and Wellness areas.Deliver Impeccable Service: Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism; accommodate special requests whenever possible and personal care, whether it is anticipating guests’ bathrobe size or remembering their favorite locker location.Coordinate Checklists, Linen and Amenities: Ensure compliance of daily opening/closing checklists and ensuring all Spa and Wellness areas are well maintained, stocked, and cleaned to ensure high quality presentation. Retrieve and return linens from laundry and maintain locker room set up.Promote Collaboration: Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors and assist other associates with set-up and breakdown of their respective areas (service providers, fitness instructors etc.)

  • Client Support:

    • Greet and assist clients upon arrival.
    • Provide information about services, treatments, and wellness programs.
  • Facility Maintenance:

    • Ensure that all areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
    • Manage inventory of supplies and equipment, restocking as necessary.
  • Service Delivery:

    • Assist with wellness treatments, such as massages, yoga classes, or fitness sessions.
    • Monitor clients during activities to ensure safety and comfort.
  • Health Monitoring:

    • Conduct initial assessments of clients' wellness needs.
    • Encourage and promote healthy lifestyle choices.
  • Administrative Tasks:

    • Schedule appointments and manage client records.
    • Process payments and handle inquiries.
  • Education and Guidance:

    • Provide clients with information on wellness practices, nutrition, and exercise.
    • Offer tips for maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
  • Emergency Response:

    • Be prepared to respond to medical emergencies or issues that arise.
    • Maintain knowledge of first aid and CPR.
  • Feedback and Improvement:

    • Collect client feedback to improve services.
    • Participate in team meetings to discuss client needs and service enhancements.

Desired candidate profile

  • Relevant Experience: Prior experience in a wellness, fitness, or hospitality environment is preferred.
  • Customer Service Background: Experience in roles that require direct interaction with clients or guests.

Skills

  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication abilities to interact effectively with clients and team members.
  • Organizational Skills: Proficiency in managing appointments, maintaining records, and ensuring a clean environment.
  • Knowledge of Wellness: Understanding of holistic health practices, nutrition, and fitness principles.

  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with scheduling software and basic administrative tasks.
