Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

  • Household Management

    • Oversee the daily operations of the household.
    • Manage staff, including housekeepers and cooks, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Guest Services

    • Welcome and assist guests upon arrival.
    • Anticipate guests' needs and preferences, providing personalized service.
  • Event Planning and Coordination

    • Organize and coordinate events, dinners, and parties.
    • Manage logistics, including catering, décor, and entertainment.
  • Inventory Management

    • Maintain an inventory of household supplies and provisions.
    • Order and procure items as needed, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
  • Dining Services

    • Set up and serve meals, including formal dining.
    • Manage the wine cellar and suggest pairings for meals.
  • Household Maintenance

    • Ensure the home is clean, organized, and well-maintained.
    • Coordinate repairs and maintenance with contractors and service providers.
  • Financial Management

    • Assist with budgeting for household expenses.
    • Manage accounts and payments for household-related services.
  • Security and Privacy

    • Ensure the safety and security of the household and its residents.
    • Maintain confidentiality regarding household matters and guests.
  • Travel Coordination
