We are seeking a highly organized reliable and selfmotivated Virtual Assistant to join our healthcare team. Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Coordination: Manage patient appointment schedules confirm appointments and handle rescheduling as needed.
- Data Management: Organize update and maintain electronic medical records and patient files ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for patients healthcare providers and internal staff responding to inquiries through email phone or chat.
- Billing and Invoicing: Assist in processing invoices patient billing and insurance claims ensuring that all documentation is accurately maintained.
- Administrative Support: Support team members with tasks like document preparation research report generation and data entry.
- Record Keeping: Track and file reports communications and data to maintain a wellorganized virtual office.
- Project Assistance: Provide administrative support on special projects as assigned such as data analysis report preparation and document formatting.
- Policy Adherence: Ensure all practices comply with healthcare privacy laws (e.g. HIPAA) and company policies.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree or certificate in healthcare administration is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a virtual assistant administrative assistant or in a healthcare support role.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint) and experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact professionally with patients and staff.
- Organization: Strong multitasking time management and organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Confidentiality: Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Adaptability: Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fastpaced environment with a proactive approach to problemsolving.
- Customer Service: High level of empathy and interpersonal skills with experience in patient or client communication preferred.
