Position Overview:
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the schools dynamic Spanish department inspiring the next generation of passionate individuals. The role entails fostering a love for thinking in students equipping them with essential skills for the modern age.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging and rigorous Spanish lessons aligned with the national curriculum and schools educational goals across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Create a stimulating classroom atmosphere that promotes student curiosity problemsolving and collaboration.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback to facilitate individual growth.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Spanish department and across the school to enhance the learning experience.
- Stay abreast of current pedagogical approaches and developments in the field of Spanish.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A Bachelors degree or higher in Spanish or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Spanish at the secondary level.
