Job Description
Hiring for the firm based in Oman for the role of Production Engineer in the aluminum industry your role involves overseeing and optimizing manufacturing processes related to aluminum production. Here are some key responsibilities:
- Process Optimization: Analyze and improve production processes to enhance efficiency reduce waste and ensure product quality.
- Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure that aluminum products meet industry standards and specifications.
- Equipment Maintenance: Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure that machinery and equipment are functioning properly and develop maintenance schedules.
- Data Analysis: Collect and analyze production data to identify trends troubleshoot issues and make informed decisions for process improvements.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety regulations and practices within the production environment conducting regular safety audits and training.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (e.g. design R&D supply chain) to align production goals and address any crossfunctional issues.
- Training and Development: Train production staff on new processes equipment and safety protocols to ensure a skilled workforce.
- Project Management: Lead or assist in projects aimed at increasing production capacity implementing new technologies or launching new products.
- Cost Management: Monitor production costs and identify areas for cost reduction without compromising quality.
- Sustainability Initiatives: Participate in initiatives aimed at reducing environmental impact such as energy efficiency and recycling programs.
Job Type: Fulltime
Pay: RO400.000 RO500.000 per month
Education:
- Bachelors (Preferred)
Experience:
- 5years: 3 years (Preferred)
