Finance Analyst InternJob Summary:
As a Finance Analyst Intern you will gain handson experience in financial analysis reporting and budgeting processes. Working closely with experienced finance professionals you will contribute to analyzing financial data preparing reports and supporting key decisionmaking efforts. This internship is designed to provide university students with practical exposure to the world of finance while enhancing your analytical and problemsolving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting:
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and presentations.
- Help analyze variances between actual and forecasted results.
- Participate in data gathering and ensuring accuracy in financial statements.
- Data Analysis:
- Help analyze financial data and market trends.
- Perform basic profitability analyses for products or business segments under supervision.
- Assist in data input and management for financial planning.
- Financial Planning:
- Support the team in developing longterm financial strategies.
- Assist in scenario analysis and risk assessments to help inform business decisions.
- Collaborative Support:
- Work with different teams to support financial analysis needs.
- Help with adhoc analyses as required by the finance team.
Qualifications:
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field.
- Experience: Prior internship experience in finance or accounting (preferred but not required).
- Skills:
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and an interest in learning financial modeling.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Good communication skills both written and verbal.
- Eagerness to learn about financial regulations and accounting standards.
Key Competencies:
- Detailoriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work on multiple projects.
- Team player with a willingness to collaborate and learn.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of finance tools (e.g. SAP Oracle) is a plus but not required.
- Interest in pursuing a career in finance or related fields.
