Job Description
Mobile Health Team Inc. a staffing agency has an opening for a Cath Lab Technologist. We are looking for someone with a passion for people.
Location: Carbondale IL 62901
Assignment Start Date: 11/18/2024
13 weeks Days 10hour shift 40 hours with 36 hours guaranteed weekly
The Estimated Weekly Total is based on working the listed hours per week and includes available stipend amounts. Please get in touch with a recruiter for full details.ROLESPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs diagnostic radiographic exams.
- Utilizes PACS and EMR systems
- Performs interventional procedures per protocol and established procedures.
- Maintains appropriate IV and Contrast Competency
- Follows established protocols and procedures for proper patient position exposure control and radiation protection.
- Performs office duties as needed.
- Communicates clearly and effectively with all involved in the patient care process.
- Cleans and inspects departmental equipment
- Cleans and stocks Imaging rooms.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION
Experience:
- At least 2 years of technical experience is required.
- Must have CATH lab Experience
- EP experience preferred; coronary and peripheral case experience such as CTO carotid stenting AAA and complex peripheral intervention. Structural experience preferred.
Education:
- Must possess a minimum of an Associate degree
Licenses Certifications and/or Registration:
- ARRT Certification in Radiology is required
- IEMA registration is required
- BLS/BCLS is required
EMR System: EPIC experience preferred
Shift: Days; 0700 start time 1 weekend out of every 4 weekends.
