Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Ambulatory Care unit. The ideal candidate will provide excellent nursing care to patients in an outpatient setting focusing on health promotion disease prevention and chronic disease management. This role requires strong clinical skills the ability to educate and support patients and a commitment to providing highquality care.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate patient care and services.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions medications and lifestyle modifications.
- Monitor patients progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Document patient encounters accurately using electronic health record systems such as Epic or Meditech.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and infection control protocols.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and clinic efficiency.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Ambulatory Care Outpatient or a similar acute care setting.
- Inpatient care experience is beneficial.
Requirements
- Active CA State RN license.
- BLS and other relevant certifications as required by the clinic.
- Strong communication skills and a patientcentered approach to care.
