Senior Front End Developer 12 months Brussels
Our important client is currently looking for a Senior Front End Developer for a 12 month contract in Brussels.
Please find the spec below:
Experience Level: 7 years of experience
Languages Required: English (fluent) and either French or Dutch
Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and passionate Front End Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing highquality scalable and responsive web applications using React. This role requires a mix of technical skills and a commitment to delivering efficient internal applications for traffic management operators.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain frontend applications with a focus on user experience.
Translate user stories designs and wireframes into highquality code.
Optimize components for maximum performance across several webcapable
devices and browsers.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams (including analysts architects product
managers and backend developers) to define design and ship new features.
Ensure code quality organization and automatization.
Stay uptodate with emerging trends and technologies in frontend development.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
Fluent in English and either French or Dutch.
At least 6 years of experience in frontend development with React or a similar
componentbased framework.
Knowledge of the MUI library is a plus.
Knowledge of the React Query library & Redux toolkit is a plus.
Good understanding of web markup including HTML5 and CSS3 with BEAM
convention.
Familiarity with modern frontend build pipelines and tools.
Experience with common frontend development tools such as Vite and NPM.
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical
requirements.
Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git.
