Job Description
Job Summary:
Role: Sr. Manager IT BY WMS (Blue Yonder)
Location: Local to Chicago or someone who is able to work hybrid
Duration: FullTime
Domain: Transportation/Logistics
Visa: USC GC
Responsibilities:
Lead the Blue Yonder project team
Provide leadership on project management and implementation methodology
Evaluate warehouse environments
Manage third party vendors including WMS vendor
Accountable for all project execution and deliverables
Update leadership on project status
Execute system configuration implementation and testing activities
Engage stakeholders on business needs
Evaluate system performance to identify areas of improvement
Lead teams through new customer onboarding
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field
10 years of experience in leading WMS Implementations
7 years of supply chain experience
5 years leading a team of business analysts developers and system engineers
3 years of systems configuration and development of Blue Yonder Red Prairie or similar WMS
Strong communication skills
Analytical skills and experience in contingency planning
Ability to manage team and own priorities
Ability to travel 1015% of the time.
