The opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity at Polestar UK for someone to join the Events team as an Intern for a 9 month period starting in January 2025.

Reporting to the Senior Events Manager this role will work cross functionally with various departments as well as close collaboration with our agency partners. This is a very exciting role where you will gain a great breadth of experience and knowledge and where you will be responsible for supporting the Events team across a variety of projects. Were looking for someone who feels as passionate about being on this journey as we are and who wants to work in a company where they can add real value and make a difference.

Main responsibilities

  • Help with the planning and hosting of marketing events and any local event partnerships
  • Attendance at key national events roadshows brand activations and support as required
  • Support the Senior Events Manager with key national events from:
    • Support with event calendar and logistics administration
    • Support with the event campaign creation and reporting e.g. QR codes artwork and presentation slides
    • Lead biographies for event staff and talent
    • Collate messaging for briefing packs and support on training
    • Remote support for test drive registrations and licence checks when required
    • The creation of weekly and monthly key performance reports and analysis
    • Competitor review at events and inspiration sharing to the broader team
    • National event research (accommodation venues charging infrastructure etc)
    • Sustainability scorecard event reporting
  • Support the Events Manager on test drive related activities from:
    • Support with event calendar and logistics administration
    • The creation of weekly and monthly key performance reports and analysis
    • Communication of any customer related queries to the onsite events team
    • Close collaboration with the Polestar CEC (Customer Experience Centre) team and Fleet Claims on licence checks and customer queries
    • Support with car booking forms and extended test drive administration
    • Creation of events within the Polestar online test drive portal
    • Close collaboration and regular communication with the events agency to share key details relating to events car details transporters etc
  • Event finance admin support
  • Event kit and uniform admin support
  • Event branding and toolkit communication of updates to agencies and suppliers
  • Event photography asset management for reference and presentation use
  • Management of the Spotify and Google accounts for all event cars
  • Event newsletter editorial ideas and product updates
  • Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners
  • Event industry update research support

  • Ability to work within a fast paced and dynamic team environment
  • Desire to test new ideas and approaches
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel Word PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Ideally a valid UK drivers licence
