Design & Technology Teacher Sought for Thriving Secondary School in Surrey
We are delighted to partner with a forwardthinking secondary school in Surrey that is committed to delivering a highquality education. They are currently seeking a talented and passionate Design & Technology Teacher to join their dedicated team in a fulltime permanent capacity.
Position Summary
The successful candidate will play a key role in inspiring students and fostering their creativity and problemsolving skills within the Design & Technology department. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape young minds and equip them with essential skills for the future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging and innovative Design & Technology lessons aligned with the national curriculum and the schools educational vision.
- Create a dynamic and collaborative learning environment that nurtures students curiosity design thinking and practical skills.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback to support individual development.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the department and across the school to enhance the learning experience.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in technology design principles and teaching methodologies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A Bachelors degree or higher in Design & Technology Engineering or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Design & Technology at the secondary level.
