Cyber Security Lead
Experience: 8 Years
Location: Lake Forest CA (4 days onsite at client location)

We are seeking a Cyber Security Lead with expertise in Firewalls IDS IPS and PAM integration to join our team.
Job Responsibilities:
Mandatory Skills:
- Experience with Firewalls IDS IPS and PAM integration
- Expertise in Antivirus Endpoint Security and XDR solutions
- Proficiency in evaluating security products/tools and selecting the most suitable ones
- Strong background in Network Security and IT Infrastructure Security
- Project and team management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Desired Skills:
- Experience in information technology and information security audit and consulting
- Knowledge of Cyber Threat Intelligence Cloud Security and Application Security Architecture/Threat Modelling
- Experience with healthcare or medical devices
- Familiarity with FDA Cybersecurity Risk Management Framework (RMF)
- Preference will be given to candidates with relevant Network Security Certifications
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with OEM vendors and identify appropriate channel partners/resellers for security appliances
- Ensure timely completion of procurement processes with vendors
- Coordinate the delivery of security appliance hardware
- Analyze product documentation to identify and configure suitable security appliances and solutions
- Collaborate with technical support and product teams to prepare medical devices in lab setups with the latest software releases and remote access
- Execute performance testing on medical devices before and after setting up security appliances
- Configure security appliances with optimized settings confirming functionality through sanity testing
- Provide key deliverables including project plans configuration guides test plan templates and reports for security appliances PAM and Archiving solutions
- Work with stakeholders to gather system and network details for medical device families
- Identify appropriate security appliances for medical devices
- Explore solutions for security appliances PAM integration and Archiving solutions
- Collaborate with IT and vendors to integrate PAM and Archiving solutions
- Provide regular status updates including weekly reports
Educational Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters degree in Life Sciences Computer Science Engineering or related fields.
