About the position:
Join us as an Accounting Analyst to bring clean solar energy to Mexico! You will work with our Accounting team and play a critical role in achieving Brights goals by aligning the Accounting team with the companys priorities. You will receive organize and deliver accounting information; audit invoices received and invoices issued; coordinate with lawyers documentation of taxaccounting transactions; present tax declarations; and work alongside other teams to have auditable processes. The new team member will work very closely with the Head of Accounting.
Tasks
Your tasks and responsibilities will be:
- Accounting Technical Skills:(I.e. Youll cCollect and deliver monthly accounting information for Mexican entities).
- Audit and attention to detail Skills: (I.e. Youll audit of invoices received and invoices issued collect evidence for audits and creation of accounting paperwork for audit).
- Project management skills:(I.e. You will coordinate with lawyers documentation of accounting transactions).
- Accounts Payable Management:(I.e. You will manage gastos por comprobar and record expenses on the accounting platform).
Requirements
Were looking for someone who:
- You have at least two years of experience in accounting.
- You are comfortable speaking English and communicating concisely.
- You have a Bachelors degree in accounting.
- Aptitude to ability to and interest in quickly learning new capabilities.
- You will need to learn from other areas of the company quickly.
- Concise and effective communication.
- You should be able to quickly focus on what is important and prioritize accordingly.
- A sense of urgency and fast thinking skills.
- Youre good at solving problems in short periods.
- Intermediateadvanced knowledge of Excel (and Google Sheets).
