Job position: Business Analyst (Purview)
Location: Remote Work from Portugal or Spain
We are recruiting for a digital consultancy and technology services provider that offers edgetocore solutions to help organizations achieve the full potential of AIdriven digital transformation. Utilizing a technologyunified operating model for cloud data and IoT this company delivers endtoend value creation for clients through innovation in digital engineering implementation services products and solutions.
We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our Purview team focusing on data governance data quality and metadata management on Azure Platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis data management and stakeholder collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify Data Catalogue usecase and metadata requirements
Analyze and document business processes data flows and metadata
Configure the client Microsoft Purview data catalog to support usecases
Implement data quality measures and monitor data quality metrics
Develop and deliver enduser training in Microsoft Purview and promote data governance awareness
Stay uptodate with industry trends emerging technologies and best practices
Requirements:
Experience with Microsoft Purview data governance platform
5 years of experience in business analysis data management or related fields
Strong understanding of data governance data quality and metadata management
Excellent analytical problemsolving and communication skills
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree in a related field
Certification in data governance or data management (e.g. CDP CDO)
Experience with additional data catalog solutions (e.g. Collibra Atlan Informatica)
Familiarity with agile methodologies
