Job Description

We are Hiring Healthcare Assistant to lead a Nursing Home in Dublin Ireland.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the highest standards of care by helping clients with dressing undressing toileting washing and any other daily living activities when needed.
- Help clients with all facets of their care need such as spiritual emotional and physical. When necessary give attention while making sure the clients maintain their dignity and comfort.
- Make the most of the available support while helping clients who have physical or learning disabilities or restricted mobility.
- Keep a close eye on clients who exhibit behavioral issues or who could be confused.
- Support the development of continence.
- Help provide care for clients who are near death or who are suffering from a degenerative illness. Help with the last office
- Participate in social events by engaging with clients and offering assistance.
- Report on the clients wellbeing while being watched over and guided by elder care staff.
- Conduct routine client checks at intervals decided by senior staff members.
- Make guests feel at home. As needed offer assistance and refreshments.
- In accordance with the nursing homes waste disposal policy make and change beds while making sure that the rooms are neat and orderly and that the commodes are empty.
- Make that the resources provided by nursing homes are used properly.
- Equipment utilized by clients or family members such as wheelchairs hearing aids glasses etc. should be cleaned and maintained. Make sure the nursing home is maintained neat and orderly.
Requirements
- Knowledge of HIQA Standards
- Sincere desire to work in a caring environment
- Capacity for successful communication at all levels
- Willingness to work as a team
