The Role
The QA Engineer will conduct comprehensive testing of webbased applications and ERP systems. The candidate should have a strong understanding of testing methodologies including Accessibility Testing Black Box Testing and Interactive Testing.
The role also involves test case design test procedure modification and QA reporting ensuring that all aspects of the application meet the required standards.
The engineer will play a crucial part in identifying and resolving quality issues and bugs ensuring the product is ready for deployment.
Required Skills:
- Testing Knowledge: Expertise in testing webbased applications and ERP systems.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with SQL scripting HTML5 DB2 and XML.
- Automation Tools: Experience with automated testing tools.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to identify and resolve quality issues and make datadriven improvements to test procedures.
- Communication Skills: Ability to articulate findings and recommendations in both written and verbal formats.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with ADA testing tools (for accessibility compliance) is a plus.
Requirements
- Must have knowledge of webbased and ERP system testing.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a QA Engineer focused on webbased application testing.
- Proficient in various testing and test case design techniques.
- Excellent understanding of different types of testing including Accessibility Testing Black Box Testing and Interactive Testing.
- Familiarity with SQL scripting HTML5 DB2 and XML.
- Experience with automated testing tools and knowledge of industry best QA practices.
- Identify and resolve quality issues and bugs effectively.
- Modify test procedures to align with product and client requirements.
- Conduct timely product analysis and oversee the successful deployment of products and services.
- Plan and coordinate all testing activities to meet deadlines.
- Review update and present detailed quality assurance reports to stakeholders.
- Ensure all identified bugs and issues are resolved through regression testing.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in testing procedures and tools.
