Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detailoriented Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with extrusion machines but we are willing to train the right individual. This is a 3rd shift position with mandatory training on the 1st shift for the first six weeks. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Operate and monitor extrusion machines to ensure efficient production
- Set up machinery according to company specifications
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment
- Inspect finished products for quality and consistency
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies
- Document production data and submit reports as needed
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating machinery; extrusion machine experience is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be willing to train on 1st shift for six weeks
