Job Description
EAG Laboratories is looking for a Test Operator to join our ATE Engineering team. The IC Assembler/Test Operator will be responsible for manual testing and operating automated test equipment (ATE) to test semiconductor parts/components.
*Work Schedule: 23:30 to 12:00 (Noon) every other Wednesday Thursday Friday and Saturday
Responsibilities:
- Operate semiconductor automated testing equipment and manual test.
- Ensure operational documents and quantity reports are accurate complete and timely for each operation.
- Meet test priority and ontime goals in a fastpaced environment.
- Work cohesively with other team members and assist to achieve testing objectives.
- Be proactive in identifying issues and resolving them quickly to satisfy productions objectives and customer needs.
Qualifications :
- 1 year experience with IC testing (aka ATE test) in electronic manufacturing.
- Handson experience in running semiconductor test equipment.
- Good Excel skills.
- Good communication and written skills.
- Ability to work with customers and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Ability to calculate test yield and troubleshoot routine issues.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to operate a personal computer or lab equipment for extended periods of time (4 or more hours).
- Ability to operate a keyboard and other lab equipment access file cabinets and other items stored at various levels.
- Ability to communicate clearly and understandably ensure an accurate exchange of information in normal conversational distance over the telephone and in a group setting.
- Ability to handle small and fragile devices with tweezers and /or fingers.
- Require close distance visual acuity.
- Must be willing and able to wear PPE such as ESD shoes safety glasses laboratory coat and/or any other devices or equipment that is required.
- Learn new tasks remember processes maintain focus complete tasks independently make timely decisions in the context of a workflow ability to communicate with visitors ability to complete tasks in situations that have a speed or productivity quota.
- Ability to move equipment or items up to 50 lbs.
