Job Description
We are looking for a Quality Engineer/Manager with strong experience in quality checks for finished steel products. This role involves managing the entire quality process including raw material inprocess and outgoing inspections. You will coordinate with suppliers and local quality teams reporting to HQ Manager and focusing on ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee quality inspections for steel products ensuring compliance with required standards.
- Coordinate with international and local suppliers and QC teams to address quality issues and ensure smooth production.
- Conduct root cause analysis on quality issues implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare and approve quality documentation ensuring quick resolution of any qualityrelated delays.
- Implement product and process audits driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to improve quality processes and reduce risks.
- Train inspectors and teams on quality standards and practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering with 5 years of experience in QA/QC particularly in the steel/structural industry.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards like ASTM SPC 8D and FMEA.
- Experience with sheet metal working assembly and galvanization is preferred.
- Excellent problemsolving and leadership skills with a strong focus on process improvement.
