Job Description

Client Overview: Our client is a leading manufacturer specializing in thermal protection air and gas conveying and noise attenuation products for automotive air management systems. Their diverse product line includes thermal reflective sleeving to protect hoses pipe assemblies wire harnesses and acoustically tuned porous flexible ducting used for air intake sound attenuation and flexible ducting for air conveying and recirculation. They excel in providing Acoustic Solutions for engine and motor noise propagation issues with facilities located in Akron OH; New Albany MS; Yuma AZ; and Celaya GTO Mexico the company focuses on producing innovative products for air intake systems battery cooling HVAC ducting and noise damping for automotive applications.

Position Overview: The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that received inprocess and finished products comply with established standards through inspection and accurate documentation. This role supports the quality team by assisting in testing and applying procedures to ensure product integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect received inprocess reworked and final products to verify compliance with quality standards.
  • Use basic quality tools such as calipers pins scales and location gauges to conduct inspections.
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation of inspection results.
  • Assist Quality Technicians in performing quality testing for product verification in line with internal and external standards.
  • Provide general support for the Quality department and adhere to documented procedures and work instructions for various products and processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience in quality inspection is preferred.
  • Basic computer skills with familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Experience with ERP systems is a plus.

Job Skills and Requirements:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and precision.
  • Ability to bend lift and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Selfmotivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and adjust to varied schedules as needed.
