Pay Rate: $18.25/hr

Job Type: Temp to Hire
Pay: $18.25$20.30/hour DOE
Shift: MondayFriday 6:00 AM 4:00 PM (Shift may vary depending on business needs and weather)

Summary:
The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for performing inspections checks tests and sampling procedures for incoming and outgoing materials parts and finished precast concrete.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct and document process and system audits using written procedures as audit standards.
- Accurately document inspection and testing results.
- Verify embedded items are correctly located; report and document any discrepancies.
- Coordinate the calibration of all test equipment and fixtures.
- Perform all fresh and hardened concrete tests.
- Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions irregularities and continuing needs.
- Ensure a safe and clean working environment by adhering to procedures rules and regulations.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Technical Skills:
- Basic computer skills required.
- Ability to define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Proficiency in applying mathematical operations to tasks determining test reliability and validity and analysis.
- Ability to read blueprints and use a tape measure effectively.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work outdoors in a construction environment regardless of weather conditions (heat or cold).
- Physical capability to lift bend climb stretch twist and reach with arms and legs.
- Ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift push pull or carry objects up to 50 lbs.
- Stand for 8 to 12hour shifts.
- Willingness to work overtime and mandatory Saturdays when scheduled.
- Comfort with climbing ladders and working at heights.
