Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging drama lessons tailored to the needs of students with special educational needs
- Create a safe and supportive environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves
- Use drama techniques to help students build confidence enhance communication skills and foster teamwork
- Collaborate with the SEN team to create and implement individualized learning plans for students
- Organize performances and drama workshops to showcase students talents and progress
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development
Experience and Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Drama or Performing Arts particularly to students with special educational needs
- Strong understanding of inclusive teaching strategies and differentiated instruction
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for fostering creativity and selfexpression
- A clear DBS check
- Legal right to work in the UK
