Job Description
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Camden to assist with the appointment of a SEN Case Officer on a 2.5month contract likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: 22.41 28.45 per Hour
Responsibilities:
- To support CSF Special Educational Needs Team in fulfilling its role in carrying out the statutory Education Health and Care (EHC) needs assessments of children and young people with special educational needs (SEN).
- To ensure EHC needs assessments are carried out in a timely way in collaboration with involved professionals and families.
- To support the service in maintaining effective organisation and data management processes during the statutory EHC needs assessment process and/or related casework.
Experience & Knowledge:
- Candidate must have experience in processing annual reviews and be able to have a personcentred approach as well as having a thorough understanding of the required process when amending EHCPs.
- Candidate should have experience and knowledge of the phase transfer process and be able to carry out relevant case work and attend annual reviews.
- Case management experience which would support the tribunal service
Please note:
- You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
- You should have right to work in U.K
- This role requires a basic DBS
