IT Project Manager
Location: Torrance CA
$48/hr W2 only
Enterprise level project management experience is a must
Job Description:

The selected candidate will be working in a large Safe Agile Team.

The selected candidate should be seasoned Agile practitioner/scrum master like to lead the team and able to influence decisions that will impact the project success.

The selected candidate should also be hands on all Project Managers duties e.g. project planning scope management financial management schedule management etc.

The selected candidates should be able to create project and executive PowerPoint presentations
-
The selected candidate should also be able to work in a large crossfunctional environment and work closely with the business and IT teams and external vendors.

The selected candidate should know tools such as Clarity Jira Confluence and Microsoft suite of tools
Main Responsibilities:

Develop Project Plans: Create detailed project plans that identify resource and budgetary needs.

Host Regular Project Meetings: Conduct weekly meetings with the project team and managers to discuss progress address challenges and provide updates.

Manage Deadlines: Ensure that project milestones and deadlines are met by coordinating efforts across departments.
-
Coordinate with Vendors and Suppliers: Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers as needed for project execution.

Risk Identification: Continuously assess project risks including technical operational and organizational aspects.

Mitigation Strategies: Develop risk mitigation plans and proactively address potential issues.

Quality Control: Implement quality assurance processes to ensure deliverables meet established standards.

Testing and Validation: Oversee testing phases including functional integration and user acceptance testing.

Status Updates: Regularly communicate project progress to stakeholders adjusting communication style based on the audience executives technical teams etc..

Issue Resolution: Address any projectrelated issues promptly seeking consensus and maintaining transparency.

Change Implementation: Facilitate the transition from legacy systems to modernized solutions.

User Adoption: Promote user acceptance and adoption of new technologies.

Work on large projects in the Service Marketing area
