Title: Business Analyst (Financial Domain)
Location: Princeton NJ/ Berkeley Heights NJ (5 Days Onsite)
Duration; 12 Months Contract or Direct Full Time
Job Description:
- Seeking a strong Business analyst with Previous development or coding background and then becoming a BA preferred.
- Candidates should have Minimum 10 Years of IT experience. Also last two or three projects to be in the financial industry.
- Should be able to understand technology infrastructure data flows etc.
- Interaction with java developers and architects to ensure technical feasibility.
- Experience in the Cards Dispute & Frauds domain is a value addition.
- Candidates should have written User Stories in BDD format.
- Current project should have a Java background where applications are moved from legacy to new systems.
- Deep Technical acumen and architecture understanding
- Collaboration with business analysts to align technical solutions with business needs
- Develop data quality metrics and standards for different types of data to ensure that it is high quality and errorfree.
- Develop data quality models to identify issues with the data and recommend solutions to improve the data quality.
- Proactively monitor measure analyze execute track and report on data quality issues.
- Interact with business users to resolve data quality problems using techniques such as root cause analysis as well as collecting user requirements.
- Experience working on data processing tasks using SPSS/Excel/Quantum/other methods using company procedures
- Collaboration with business analysts to align technical solutions with business needs
- Support in troubleshooting and problemsolving
- Work with Client Managers to address questions about financial content and make recommendations where applicable
- Generate a variety of reports based on special requests
- Work with other departments to resolve issues associated with specific loads
- Apply technical knowledge to resolve data integrity issues
