About the Job
Were looking for an experienced Backend Developer PHP (m/f/d) to join one of our partner companies and develop their backend IT strategies.
In your daytoday work youll focus on the new and further development of the platform while having the opportunity to contribute to various projects.
Join our partner company: A dynamic company revolutionising the book industry through selfpublishing platforms. With a focus on innovation theyre driving the publishing world into the digital age blending the agility of a startup with the backing of an established firm.
In this role youll:
- Develop and enhance our partner companys new platform (Symfony API Platform Angular MySQL Kubernetes/Rancher)
- Collaborate with the team to conceptualise new backend components
- Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and contribute to their ongoing development
- Maintain and improve the existing backend tech stack (Symfony Zend)
- Engage in continuous personal development through training research and team collaboration
Your Profile
- Strong knowledge of PHP 8 and frameworksideally Symfony and/or API Platform
- Proficient in serverside debugging
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Understanding of unit testing and a commitment to maintainable readable code
- Comfortable working with Linux
- Experience with agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban is a plus
- Independent work style and openness to new technologies
- Friendly and motivated team player
- Excellent communication skills in German. English is a plus
Please note that we are looking for support in Germany for our partner company. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.
