Job Description
Your mission
Design and optimization of the electrochemical cell and process of our DAC technology to create a robust and massmanufacturable product.
We are seeking a skilled Senior Process Engineer to join our Berlinbased startup. Your primary focus will be on the design execution and optimization of lab and industrialscale testing related to our electrochemical cell processes. You will be working within an interdisciplinary team of experts in material science electrochemistry modeling and process engineering.
Key Points
- Design & optimize the electrochemical process
- Highlight and solve process challenges connected to the electrochemical cell
- Support the creation of Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and simulations for process optimization.
- Consider solvent composition kinetics and energy consumption for the electrochemical process
- Mentor and support junior process engineers and testing engineers.
Your profile
Skills and Experience
- Masters degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering Process Engineering or a related field.
- 5 years of work experience in designing and optimizing electrochemical processes
- Familiarity with P&IDs and process simulation tools.
- Proficiency in using lab equipment and software for data collection and analysis.
- Work experience in operating electrochemical systems building prototypes and operating systems at different scalesWorkstyle and culture
