Job Description

Roles and responsibilities


Parsons is seeking a talented Proposal Coordinator to join our EMEA Bid Studio team! In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a high-performing and dynamic team, contributing to the preparation of proposals for a range of exciting opportunities.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Formats documents, performs desktop publishing, and completed word processing.
  • Proofs and edits technical and non-technical documents.
  • Retrieves resumes and project descriptions from Parsons’ qualifications repositories.
  • Tailors written content to meet customer requirements and needs.
  • Supports coordination efforts with subconsultants to collect documentation, forms, and other required information.
  • Supports coordination efforts with internal departments (such as contracts, legal, corporate).
  • Prepares first drafts of solicitation required forms.
  • Prepares writing templates in accordance with solicitation specifications.
  • Reviews proposal drafts for compliance and quality.
  • Supports and maintains print production and the print production schedule and resource planning to ensure all required proposal documents are produced properly.
  • Prepares pre-qualifications packages.
  • Assists with closeout activities, including archiving and repository updates.
  • Researches and analyzes information from multiple sources (such as subject matter experts (SMEs) and previous deliverables).
  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
  • Coordinate the proposal development process, including scheduling meetings, tracking deadlines, and ensuring timely submissions.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and develop content for proposals.
  • Review and edit proposals for clarity, consistency, and adherence to guidelines and requirements.
  • Maintain a library of proposal templates, best practices, and previous submissions for reference.
  • Additional Requirements:

  • Familiarity with project management principles and tools.
  • Ability to conduct research and gather market intelligence to enhance proposal quality.
  • Experience with graphic design tools is a plus for creating visually appealing proposals.

Desired candidate profile

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent
5+ years of related work experience
Effective organizational, planning, and time management
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented, and work against strict deadlines
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and SharePoint
Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce clear, compelling proposals.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and proposal management software (e.g., Adobe, Proposify).
Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple proposals and deadlines.
Attributes:

Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
