Job Description
RWE Design Build is looking for a Senior Project Manager (SPM) to manage multiple construction projects at our Downers Grove office. The ideal candidate will have 7 years of experience as a Project Manager (PM) or Senior Project Manager (SPM) experience. A bachelor s degree in Construction Management is preferred along with excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Developing the construction schedule through all phases including preconstruction through contract execution
- Assist with preparation of estimates and prepare takeoffs
- Have a thorough knowledge of general contract and subcontract requirements
- Prepare budget reports and change orders
- Support field superintendents in all areas of construction
- Prepare budget and cost estimates compare actual vs budgeted project cost
- Collaborate with engineers architects and other workers in the same project
- Choose subcontractors and delegate their responsibilities
- Responsible for any delays emergencies and problems that can arise
- Comply with safety and building codes as well as legal requirements
- Report project progress and budget to client
- Explain contract and technical matter to others in a clear manner
- Prepare budget and cost estimates along with work timetables
Requirements
Requirements:
- Out of ground construction experience
- 7 years experience as a construction PM or SPM experience
- Selfmotivated and detail oriented individual
- Ability to multitask and work in a fastpaced environment with deadlines
- Bachelor s Degree in Construction Management or related field

Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience as a Project Manager with a track record of independently managing Commercial Construction Projects. Proficiency in utilizing construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera, HeavyBid, Civil 3D for efficient project execution. Strong time management skills to meet project deadlines effectively. Flexibility to occasional travel to various project sites as required. Ability to thrive under pressure and deliver results within tight deadlines. Exceptional negotiation skills along with proficiency in contract management for successful project outcomes.
